Plantation Fiji 2009 49,5%

the 2009 rum (49.5%) was distilled in a Pot Still at the Rum Co. or Fiji distillery. First, a tropical ripening of 10 years took place. After this, the second continental ripening took place for 3 years.
This latest vintage immediately offers you the scents of a fruity pastry. After this, the nose becomes more floral and spicy with hints of thyme, banana, toast and almonds.
In terms of taste, you will find fresh and balanced notes of bitter orange and other tropical fruits. The real connoisseurs will also recognize subtle spicy notes here and there.
The aftertaste in turn becomes very spicy and closes with fresh notes of mint.
